Around the eye, the physician should be careful as the site and volume of injection since we don’t want the medication to enter certain eye muscles. Adherence to special protocols is essential in order to avoid injecting large doses ob Botox. Botox usually improves the dynamic wrinkles but not all the fine wrinkles of the face which are due to sun damage. Botox injections give a temporary effect on dynamic wrinkles, lasting for 4-6 months. Following injection their effect is seen after three days. It is essential to avoid messaging the area treated and avoid bending or heavy straining in the first 24 hours after treatment.

What To Expect After The Surgery - Facial Resurfacing Facial Peels And Laser Surgery
Immediately following a chemical peel or dermabrasion, or resurfacingt he surgeon may apply a dressing to your skin. Swelling and "crusting" of the skin are normal, and ointments to keep the skin supple will be applied for seven to 14 days following surgery. The redness and pinkish discoloration of skin will persist depending on the type of resurfacing used. will usually fade in about 4 weeks.. Should you experience any increase in redness or itching in the days after surgery, notify your surgeon immediately. In 10 to 14 days after resurfacing, new skin will emerge that is pink finer. What To Expect After The Surgery? - Rhinoplasty
St the end of rhinoplasty an external splint is put to stabilize the framework of the nose. It is removed one week following the surgery. Occasionally a small plastic splint is put inside the nose and also removed in one week without any significant discomfort. Mild to moderate swelling is present around the nose. Most patients don’t develop any significant bruising. For another week, steri strips are positioned on the nose for another week. After two weeks the swelling would have decreased by 80%. The remaining 20% will subside by six to eight months. It is essential to avoid sleeping on the nose or any trauma. Nose blowing should be stopped for two weeks. Exercise and heavy straining should be avoided for three weeks following the surgery. In certain cases messages to some areas of the nose are advised in order to decrease swelling. What To Expect After The Surgery ? - Otoplasty
Dressing is applied is kept for three days. Patients experience mild discomfort for few days. Patients are asked not to sleep on the side. And to apply head bands for a period of two to three weeks during their sleep. Kids are asked to avoid any tyoe of wrestling activities in order to avoid disruption of the sutures. Scarring behind the ears is usually minimal. The post auricular region can heal with keloid formation in patients who are keloid formers. This surgery is contraindicated in keloid former.

What To Expect After The Surgery ? - Forehead Lift Surgery
Patient will have some swelling and bruising for a period of around 10-days following surgery. Patient will be asked to sleep with the head elevated in order to decrease the swelling. Depending on the extent of the surgery numbness around the site of the surgery may be present. Sutures or staples are removed after 10 days. Patients can take a gentle shower after four days afier surgery. Many times a brow lift is combined with a Blepharoplasty or face lift . The postoperative instructions are changed accordingly.

What To Expect After The Surgery ? - BLEPHAROPLASTY (EYELID SURGERY)
Following the surgery, cold compresses are applied for 12 hours and discomfort is usually minimal and controlled with mild painkillers. In the first week, usually mild to moderate swelling is present. Patients are asked to have limited activities, and sutures are removed after 5 days. Specific information is given to you regarding your post operative care for your eyelids following surgery.

What To Expect After The Surgery? - FACE and NECK LIFT (RHYTIDECTOMY)
Most patients have mild pain or thightness after surgery, medications are described to control this sensation. Some degree of swelling and bruising is usually present, and your surgeon. Dressing has is usually removed two to three days. The surgeon will also instruct you to keep your head elevated when lying down, to avoid as much activity as possible, and to report any undue discomfort. If a drainage tube may have been inserted during surgery, it is usually removed on the first or second day after surgery. All sutures and staples are usually removed within five to 10 days following surgery.
